There are many sustainable modular buildings to choose from here at Ecospace Studios. Are you thinking about the type of garden studio, bespoke studio or custom home build you need? Maybe you’re considering what will work well with your garden design, renovation or plot of land? Or perhaps you are considering a small house design?
Whatever your needs, our advice when thinking about your modular building and whether its a studio space, garden room, garden office, granny annex or bespoke house design – “keep your options open”.
For example, you may need a garden office, studio, home gym, guest room or a summer house. However, if we consider the size, space and internal layout, you could easily convert your eco building into a multipurpose space. Making use of the space as a home office during the weekdays, with the design addition of upgrading to sleeping accommodation, making the studio a habitable space to accommodate guests on the weekend or special occasions – this is a great way to get much more out of your investment.
Imagine being able to fold or slide sections of your bespoke studio away to make the interior space bigger? Easily changing it from a home workspace to a chill out room or a guest room too? The possibilities really are endless!
Our bespoke studio options mean you can take any building design which already exists in our portfolio and customise it for your own needs. Alternatively, if you have your own design concept, we are more than happy to translate it into a working design so that you can achieve your dream home. To help you get an idea of what is possible, let’s take a look at one of our existing bespoke studio designs;
Home Office & Guest House – Surbiton.
This 50-square-metre studio space we created in Surbiton is situated at the bottom of our clients garden and accommodates a bedroom, kitchen, lounge area and an office space that allows the clients to work from home and host guests.
The ceiling slopes up above the kitchen and office to create a double-height space for a mezzanine lounge accessed by a ladder.
Sustainably sourced cedar clads the exterior, birchwood panels line the interior and a seamless recyclable rubber floor runs throughout to create a uniform appearance for the open-plan space.
Finally, Ecospace studios offer an unchallenged benefit – they are designed by our award winning Chartered Architects and we are the original creators of the contemporary modular studio.
